Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Bodyman/Wreck Mechanic in Amarillo, TX. The role focuses on collision repair, welding, and diagnosing trailer systems. A forklift operator with own tools is preferred and adherence to SOPs is required.

Schedule: Mon-Fri with one Saturday per month; pay $18-28/hr based on experience. This role involves physically demanding work in a hot/dusty environment with PPE supplied.

Qualifications

Job description

Bodyman/Wreck Mechanic

Schedule: Monday - Friday, One Saturday a month.

Pay: $18-28/hr depending upon experience (Level I, II or III).

Job Duties

• Collision Repair experience required
• Ability to use welding skills and knowledge of metals to complete trailer repairs. Ability to diagnose and repair various systems associated with trailer and dolly repair to include but not limited to: ABS diagnostics, roll doors, body repair, accident repair, air brake system inspection and repair, electrical system diagnosis and repair.
• Operate a forklift.
• Understand and follow operating instructions for various tools and equipment
• Ability to write concise work orders that mirror work performed daily

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift.
• Ability to work in the environment, hot, cold, dusty.
• Lock Out Tag Out, etc.
• Follow all SOPs.
• Ability to wear all needed PPE throughout work shift.
• Must have his/her own tools.
