Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience with a law enforcement agency preferred.
• Knowledge of police forms, terminology, and records procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Records Management Systems (RMS).

Responsibilities

• Review body worn camera footage and processing per policy and records requests.
• Assist Body Worn Camera Coordinator and Officers to ensure program compliance.
• Verify codes with Federal Uniform Crime Reporting guidelines and classify incoming reports.
• Enter required information into the Police records system and retrieve data from computer systems.
• Run statistical reports and handle inquiries from citizens, attorneys, and others.
• Operate general office equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
