Do you want to work at one of the busiest automotive dealerships in the region where your employer treats you like a member of the family? We have an immediate opening for a Body Shop Mechanical Technician.

Opportunity and position

Great opportunity for a Body Shop Mechanic. We are especially interested in YOU having I-CAR, ASE, or other certifications.

Responsibilities
  1. Work on collision damaged vehicles in the body shop.
  2. Drive and operate vehicles as needed.
  3. Examine vehicles, diagnose damages, and discuss the extent of damages with clients.
  4. Perform measurement and alignment of vehicles using wheel alignment equipment.
  5. Evacuate and recharge a variety of A/C systems.
  6. Communicate additional service needs to clients.
  7. Plan work procedures in cooperation with the Blue Printer.
  8. Collaborate to provide labor time estimates to the Estimator.
  9. Monitor repair times and update Estimators on repair status.
  10. Maintain adherence to dealership policy on vehicle care and operation.
  11. Complete documentation for client repairs.
  12. Understand and operate the computer system.
  13. Wear approved safety gear in designated safety areas.
  14. Keep work area clean and organized.
  15. Attend ongoing relevant training events.
  16. Participate in department and dealership meetings.
Minimum Requirements
  1. High school diploma or GED; and minimum two years collision repair experience.
  2. Valid State issued Driver's License and auto insurance coverage.
  3. Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on high customer service standards.
  4. Proficient in advanced vehicle systems including ADAS and system calibrations.
  5. Strong understanding of vehicle suspension, electrical, and fuel systems.
  6. Working knowledge of the latest shop equipment and technology.
