Job summary

MikeSavoie Chevrolet in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Full-Time Body Shop Estimator to join our Collision Center. You will inspect vehicles, prepare accurate estimates, document damage, and work with insurance companies to secure approvals.

This role emphasizes customer communication and timely updates, with a Monday–Friday in-person schedule. The ideal candidate has CCC ONE and Mitchell estimating experience, knowledge of collision repair procedures, and a strong focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate, thorough collision repair estimates
• Write estimates usingCCC ONE and Mitchell estimating systems
• Properly identify and document all visible vehicle damage
• Prepare and process supplements as additional damage is discovered during the repair process
• Communicate effectively with customers throughout the repair process
• Provide customers with timely and accurate status updates
• Work directly with insurance companies and adjusters on estimates, supplements, and repair approvals
• Review insurance estimates and identify necessary repair procedures, operations, and supplements
• Collaborate with technicians, parts personnel, and management to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate photos, documentation, and repair notes
• EnsureOEM repair procedures and manufacturer requirements are properly identified and followed
• Take ownership of the customer experience from initial estimate through final vehicle delivery
• Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Previous automotive collision estimating experience required
• CCC ONE estimating experience required
• Mitchell estimating experience required
• Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures and vehicle construction
• Experience working with insurance companies, adjusters, andDRP requirements
• Ability to identify visible and potential hidden damage
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Proven record of positive customer satisfaction results
• Team-oriented, self-motivated professional
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
