JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Body Shop Estimator

Reports To: Body Shop Manager

Exempt or Non-Exempt: Exempt

Full-Time or Part-Time: Full Time

Job Summary:

This position requires completing repair estimates on damaged vehicles. The role also involves seeking and developing new business opportunities and expanding the customer base within the assigned area.

Essential Job Functions:

• Complete estimates and settle payments with vehicle owners and insurance companies.
• Develop and grow the customer base in the assigned area to increase dealership revenue.
• Promote and sell all dealership services to potential customers.
• Maintain excellent communication skills and interact professionally with customers and business owners.
• Meet the minimum qualifications: High school diploma, valid driver's license, and a minimum of 2 years of heavy truck experience.
• Background in body shop repairs, truck painting, and paint systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostics computers, telephone, Office Suite, and CDK DMS system.
