Job summary

Russ Hubler CDJR in Indiana is seeking a Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The role involves preparing estimates, maintaining a timely repair schedule, and crafting a proper repair plan for each vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, be comfortable with new technology, and communicate clearly with customers and insurance partners. A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Basic computer proficiency is required.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer-service mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong math/reading and software skills.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop a proper repair plan for each vehicle.
• Prepare estimates in accordance with insurance partner and company guidelines.
• Maintain and execute a timely repair schedule.
• Communicate supplements to customers and insurance companies the same day.
• Keep customers’ cars clean and tidy to boost satisfaction.
• Consult with management on new procedures and equipment in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle
• Prepare estimates in accordance with Insurance partner and company guidelines
• Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during, and after completion of repairs
• Communicate supplements to customers and insurance companies on the same business day as written
• Ensure customers’ cars are kept clean and tidy to improve customer happiness
• Consult with management regarding new procedures and equipment in the industry
