Job summary

Hertrich Family of Dealerships seeks a skilled Body Shop Assistant Manager to lead our Collision Center team. You will greet customers, build relationships with insurers, prepare damage estimates, and help control production costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Collision Center or Auto Body Shop is required (preferred).
• Experience in estimating or insurance adjusting is required.
• Strong understanding of the collision repair process and ability to handle high volumes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with professionalism and courtesy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, fleet providers, and manufacturers.
• Perform vehicle damage assessments and create detailed repair cost estimates.
• Prepare accurate damage reports efficiently.
• Assist in managing shop production costs and workflow.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on daily tasks and dispatches using computerized systems.
• Provide support and assistance to employees as needed.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
