Job summary

American Modern Insurance Group, Inc., a Munich Re company, is seeking an experienced Liability Claims Specialist. You will manage moderate to complex bodily injury and liability claims, evaluate coverage, and negotiate settlements with insureds, attorneys, and carriers.

You will work in a hybrid environment with face-to-face collaboration part of the time, building advanced expertise while contributing to a collaborative team backed by Munich Re.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (5+ years) managing Liability Bodily Injury claims with complexity.
• Strong verbal and written communication; professional negotiation skills.
• Experience using claims systems and digital documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Interpret coverage, conduct investigations, and interview insureds, witnesses, and 3rd party claimants.
• Negotiate settlements with individuals, attorneys, and other carriers; process loss settlements.
• Set and maintain reserves; review reports and supporting materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal standards.
