Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Winchester, TN is seeking a Service Specialist to support the Service Department operations, including PDI, delivery orientation and warranty repairs for boats, motors, trailers and ATV/UTV.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, verifying VINs, updating IDS, preparing delivery docs and explaining unit operation. Knowledge of dealership DS and strong people skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete simple math calculations.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, management and co-workers.
• Ability to perform various functions within Dealership Management data entry system.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with service, warranty repairs for boats, motors, trailer or ATV/UTV.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt service for delivery, service, warranty and parts.
• Assist Receiving with unloading, inspection and VIN verification of new units.
• Prepare Owner’s Delivery Packet and delivery documents in advance of time for pick-up.
• Explain unit operation and maintenance procedures to customers.
• Assist with IDS work orders and communicate estimates for repairs.
• Assist with warranty repair authorization and related IDS work orders.
