Job summary

Tiara Yachts in Holland, MI is seeking a Composite Cutter & Grinder Associate for the 2nd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). You will trim and grind fiberglass components to precise shapes and tolerances to build strong hull structures.

Responsibilities include smoothing edges, inspecting parts, following blueprints, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. Prior experience with grinders or composites is preferred but not required, as on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with fiberglass composites is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams for precision cuts.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Trim and grind fiberglass components to specified shapes and tolerances using air tools, saws, and grinders.
• Smooth edges, remove excess material, and prep surfaces for assembly or finish.
• Maintain accuracy by following work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, completeness, and fit.
• Keep tools in good condition and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
