Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking an Assembly Technician in Big Lake, MN to join a leading boat manufacturing team. The role involves assembling vehicle parts and sub-systems, following specifications, and performing quality checks in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

You will use power and hand tools, read blueprints, and maintain clear communication within a collaborative, production-oriented team. This temp-to-hire/full-time opportunity offers weekly pay and benefits options.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret a tape measure.
• Must have experience using power and hand tools.
• Must be able to follow written blueprint instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and reach overhead.
• Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• 6+ months of experience within past year preferred.
• Must have history of good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble vehicle parts, sub-systems, and components
• Prepare materials and build-up parts according to specifications
• Perform inspections and quality checks throughout production
• Operate power tools, hoists, and various production equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
