Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assembly Technicians in Big Lake, MN. The role is a temp‑to‑hire position with compensation of $19.00–$23.00 per hour, paid weekly, on first shift (6:00am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday).

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret a tape measure.
• Must have experience using power and hand tools.
• Must be able to follow written blueprint instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and reach overhead; lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble vehicle parts, sub-systems, and components.
• Prepare materials and build-up parts according to specifications.
• Perform inspections and quality checks throughout production.
• Operate power tools, hoists, and various production equipment.

What You’ll Do as an Assembly Technician

• Assemble vehicle parts, sub-systems, and components
• Prepare materials and build‑up parts according to specifications
• Perform inspections and quality checks throughout production
• Operate power tools, hoists, and various production equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

What You Need to Bring to the Assembly Technician Role

• Must be able to read and interpret a tape measure
• Must have experience using power and hand tools
• Must be able to follow written blueprint instructions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and reach overhead
• Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• 6+ months of experience within past year preferred
• Must have history of good attendance
