Practice Area: Immigration Law – Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)

What You'll Do:

Craft Powerful Appeals: Draft winning appellate briefs, motions to reopen, motions to reconsider, and more for submission to the BIA.

Analyze & Strategize: Dive into case records, transcripts, and decisions to uncover legal errors and shape compelling appellate arguments.

Lead with Law: Conduct advanced research on immigration precedents and help shape future case law.

Collaborate Virtually: Partner with trial attorneys and legal assistants to build solid strategies and seamless workflows.

Keep Clients Informed: Maintain proactive and compassionate communication with clients, every step of the way.

What You Bring:

J.D. + Bar License: From an accredited law school, and in good standing with any U.S. jurisdiction.

Immigration Law Experience: At least 3 years, with a minimum of 1 year focused on BIA appeals.

Legal Writing Mastery: You write clearly, persuasively, and with purpose.

Tech-Savvy & Self-Driven: Experience with legal research platforms and remote workflows (Westlaw, Lexis, case management systems).

Detail-Oriented & Deadline-Focused: You thrive under pressure and never miss a filing.

Experience with federal immigration litigation (Petitions for Review, Circuit Court filings).

Prior experience working remotely in a legal team setting.
