Owl Therapy Role: Advisory Board Member – Healthcare Leader

The Role: Advisory Board Member – Healthcare Leaders

Location: Remote

Engagement: Part-Time Advisory Board Member

Compensation: Early access to pre-seed equity; Sweat equity

We are currently looking for executive leaders in the healthcare industry to join our advisory board to provide us with input on the launch of our new venture. We’re looking for a sharp, forward-thinking Population Health, Digital, IT/IS, Operations, Clinical, Strategy, health plan / payer General Managers, COOs, CX/PX, Physicians, Compliance, Legal, Design, Clinical trials & research, Regulatory, Marketing, Nurses, and Informatics leaders to help bridge the gap between the care people expect and can afford and what’s available in the market. You know what isn’t working and where the critical gaps are. You’re ready and excited to advise us on our go-to-market strategy, pricing, service offerings, technical and functional requirements, clinician & patient engagement, clinical research, and compliance / regulatory requirements. Board advisors typically contribute 2-5 hours per month and are compensated with early access to equity.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise us of the opportunities to create better care coordination and more cohesive care continuum in partnership with health systems and insurance companies
  • Recommend and introduce us to strategic partners who have complementary services, similar development roadmaps, or a vested interest in mental health improvements
  • Provide input into the brand, services, and UX/UI of the platform
  • Share experience on workflows and operations that work or don’t work well within and around behavioral health or mental health
  • Advocate and champion better mental health and evolving our understanding of whole-person health within your organizations
  • Support our brand at conferences, networking events,and social media to raise awareness about the mental health crisis in our country

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience within a health system, medical group, integrated clinical practice, hospital, ASC, payer, etc.
  • Leader, advocate, or champion for innovation and transformation of the healthcare industry to improve the lives & mental health of clinicians & care providers and patients alike
  • Proven experience building lasting relationships at any and every level of an organization within the healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, health system / payer culture, and laws/regulations that directly or indirectly impact the expansion and affordability of mental health care
  • Exceptional ability to think outside of the box and bring people along with them (e.g. change management)
  • Ability to empathize with consumers, patients, clinicians, operators, executives, and health-tech professionals (e.g. vendors)
