Overview

The VOMI Global Think Tank and Advisory Board serves as a global think tank and advocacy group for Virtual Organization Management Institute (VOMI) and as an advisory committee to the Office of the Chairman on local, regional, and international issues. Members provide global insight and diversity to promote VOMI's mission: "To carry the Luminous Light of VOMI to every individual worldwide."

Role and Responsibilities:
The Board Member, Renewable Energy Advisor, as part of the European Affairs Subcommittee, will attend all meetings, represent the subcommittee on the Global Ambassadors Committee, and act as a liaison with the European energy community. Responsibilities include contributing knowledge on local energy needs, participating as a speaker at summits and conferences, and following Robert's Rules of Order during meetings.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

You must fit one of the following profiles:

  • A current Ph.D. student in Sustainable Energy Engineering with at least one year remaining, residing in or native to Europe, and a Social Media Guru.
  • A retired or semi-retired visionary Renewable Energy executive esteemed in your region, seeking active participation.

Applicants must be not employed full-time, financially independent, and not seeking immediate employment. Additional requirements include:

  • Strong moral and ethical values and excellent work ethic
  • Passion for social media and virtual organizations
  • Sufficient time for board activities
  • Extensive influence in business, academia, or government
  • Willingness to learn virtual organization management
  • Self-sufficient in a virtual environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to obtain a VOMI top secret clearance if requested

This is an unpaid volunteer position with an initial 6-month appointment, renewable. Members who serve over a year may receive a USD $100,000 Meritorious Service Award. Benefits include potential equity grants and high-value company benefits. Members will interact with virtual organization thought leaders and stay at the forefront of VOMI developments.
