Job summary

The Governor’s Workforce Development Board is seeking a proactive leader to manage board membership engagement and governance operations. You will recruit and onboard Governor-appointed members, ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, and support efficient board and committee meeting planning.

Ideal candidates will be experienced in stakeholder coordination, policy governance, and executive communication, with a talent for building strong relationships and delivering organized,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience may substitute.
• Master's degree may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Support outreach and recruitment to identify and engage prospective GWDB members with diverse representation.
• Coordinate appointments, reappointments, and resignations with the Governor’s Appointments Office.
• Manage onboarding, records, term dates, and compliance with state processes.
• Coordinate board and committee meetings: materials, logistics, minutes, and follow-up communications.
