Westford Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center in Westford, MA, seeks a board-certified Veterinary Surgeon to join our 24/7 emergency and referral hospital. You will perform orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries, manage complex cases, and collaborate with emergency and specialty teams in a high-level referral environment.

You will develop surgical plans using advanced diagnostics, provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, and mentor staff while helping refine protocols and quality

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent required.
• Board-certified or residency-trained in small animal surgery (ACVS) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate virtually.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.
• Manage complex referral and emergency surgical cases.
• Collaborate with emergency and specialty teams on patient care.
• Develop surgical plans using advanced diagnostics and imaging.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient management.
• Communicate treatment plans with pet owners and referring veterinarians.
• Mentor clinical staff and participate in hospital rounds and continuing education.
• Help develop and refine surgical protocols, reporting standards, and quality controls.
• Participate in clinical case reviews and continuing education initiatives.
