Job summary

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. (CHC) seeks a Primary Care Physician – OB/GYN to provide obstetric and gynecologic care within our Medical Administration department.

Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, you will deliver high-quality patient care, maintain documentation, participate in on-call duties, and collaborate with the care team across CHC sites in California.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN or Pediatrics.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Current unrestricted medical license in California.
• Current DEA license.
• ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services under the Chief Medical Officer.
• Perform physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses.
• Order tests and imaging; document findings thoroughly.
• Adhere to medical ethics and quality of care.
• Share on-call duties with other medical staff.
• Supervise nurse practitioners as required.
• Maintain HIPAA and confidentiality.
