Job summary

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. (CHC) seeks a Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer.

The role emphasizes independent professional responsibility and patient-centered care across the CHC network. The physician will conduct comprehensive physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order tests, and coordinate with specialists.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN or Pediatrics; board certified or eligible.
• Current unrestricted medical license in California; DEA license; ACLS/PALS/BLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Secure and evaluate patient health history and document findings.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnose/treat illnesses and emergencies.
• Provide routine care, order tests, and coordinate with specialists as needed.
• Adhere to medical ethics and maintain high quality of care.
• Demonstrate patient communication and education about prevention.
