Job summary

Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services seeks a passionate BCBA to lead development and oversight of individualized services supporting meaningful client progress. You will work with behavior technicians, families, and professionals to ensure high-quality, tailored care.

You will supervise plans, mentor technicians, and conduct assessments to guide treatment while traveling locally to oversee client services and collaboration. A commitment to quality care and professional growth is essential.

Responsibilities

Job description

Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. This is a full-time position offering $55-$70 per hour, with flexible scheduling and a strong commitment to work-life balance.

This position includes local travel to oversee client services, collaborate with families and team members, and maintain high standards of treatment integrity.

About the Role

As a BCBA with Ad Astra, you will play an important role in developing and overseeing individualized services that support meaningful client progress. You will work closely with behavior technicians, families, and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure clients receive high-quality, individualized care.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree and current BCBA certification (required)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
  • Spanish speaking is valued but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Physical and Cognitive Requirements
  • Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and transition between floor-level and standing positions throughout the workday.
  • Actively participate in developmentally appropriate client activities, including floor-based activities, movement-based activities, transitions, and safety monitoring.
  • Safely navigate assigned work environments, including homes, clinics, schools, community settings, and remote/telehealth settings, as applicable.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move therapy materials and equipment, typically up to 50 pounds.
  • Sit for extended periods while providing telehealth services or completing computer-based work as needed.
  • Use hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, mobile devices, and other equipment requiring fine motor coordination.
  • Maintain visual and auditory awareness to observe client behavior, monitor safety, and communicate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Read, understand, retain, and apply written and verbal information.
  • Maintain attention, concentration, situational awareness, and sound judgment in dynamic environments.
  • Collect, record, and submit accurate client data and session documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Maintain professionalism and emotional resilience when addressing sensitive client or employee matters, complaints, and workplace concerns.
