Qualifications

  • Ability to pass TB test results and FBI/DOJ fingerprinting.

Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services provides comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services tailored to each client's individual needs. We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Case Managers supporting ABA therapy services, with compensation ranging from $25-$35 per hour.

About the Role

As a Case Manager, you will work closely with BCBAs to support the delivery of medically necessary behavioral health treatment and provide meaningful support to clients and their families.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting BCBAs with case oversight and implementation of treatment plans
  • Conducting parent consultation sessions
  • Training and supervising RBTs in the field
  • Supporting accurate data collection, session documentation, and graphing
  • Collaborating with staff, parents, and other professionals to promote coordinated care
  • Implementing creative, research-based teaching strategies
  • Encouraging and motivating staff to engage with and expand their knowledge of behavior analysis
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and supportive team environment

Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare services are not permitted as transportation. Candidates must be able to independently transport themselves to and from work.
  • Master's degree in a related field or enrollment in a graduate program with a minimum of 12 graduate semester units in an ABA program
  • Ability to lift or move approximately 50 pounds and assume and maintain a variety of postures, including kneeling, squatting, sitting, and standing, for extended periods of time while working with clients in their natural environments
  • Ability to provide negative TB test results
  • Ability to pass FBI & DOJ fingerprinting
  • Energetic attitude and genuine desire to help individuals with developmental disabilities succeed
Physical and Cognitive Requirements
  • Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and transition between floor-level and standing positions throughout the workday.
  • Actively participate in developmentally appropriate client activities, including floor-based activities, movement-based activities, transitions, and safety monitoring.
  • Safely navigate assigned work environments, including homes, clinics, schools, community settings, and remote/telehealth settings, as applicable.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move therapy materials and equipment, typically up to 50 pounds.
  • Sit for extended periods while providing telehealth services or completing computer-based work as needed.
  • Use hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, mobile devices, and other equipment requiring fine motor coordination.
  • Maintain visual and auditory awareness to observe client behavior, monitor safety, and communicate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Read, understand, retain, and apply written and verbal information.
  • Maintain attention, concentration, situational awareness, and sound judgment in dynamic environments.
  • Collect, record, and submit accurate client data and session documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Maintain professionalism and emotional resilience when addressing sensitive client or employee matters, complaints, and workplace concerns.
