Employee Testimonials

“You’re in the clients’ homes every month and, immediately, I loved it. That bond of visiting people, it’s really nice. You go into their homes, and they treat you like family. Knowing that you’re trying to get something done and be an advocate for them, that’s the best feeling.”

Ivonne Sanchez
Bilingual Lead Case Manager | Adult Family Care (AFC)

“I have dedicated my career to helping others, and I truly view all of my patients as an extension of my family.”

Elizabeth Obeng
Registered Nurse | Northeast Clinical Services

“I enjoy having a purpose and doing a job that means something. It’s amazing what we do—what our staff does—every day. The ability to care for our residents is second to none.”

“It’s really satisfying for me to feel that what I do for work gives happiness to individuals and families. We help them to be independent and part of the community. I see (the residents) as a part of me. That’s why I’ve stayed so long.”

Carmen Beato
Program Director, Residential

“Our primary goal here at Northeast Clinical Services is to provide home nursing services that help keep our patients at home. Being able to support our front-line nurses toward this goal is perhaps one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.”

Donald S. Palladino, Jr
RN, Senior Clinical Manager | Northeast Clinical Services

“The daily interactions with the individuals we support are most fulfilling to me. Just to be able to see the individuals’ successes over the years and share those moments with them is something that I enjoy. Every day brings something different. No day is ever the same.”

Donna Marden
Program Director, Community Employment

“My favorite memories are always the ‘firsts.’ The first time a child does something independently that they hadn’t done before, or the first time a parent says, ‘I didn’t know they could do that!’ Those moments are always special.”

Marijke Callahan
Clinical Program Director | Building Bridges

“The most fulfilling part of working at Northeast Arc is the fact that I believe every morning I come to work, I am making a positive change in people’s lives. One other fulfilling thing about working for the Arc is the joy I see on the faces of the individuals when they see me.”
