Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board) and licensed in Missouri.

Experience Requirements

• At least two years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Specialized training in applied behavior principles, plan implementation, data collection, behavior interventions, and risk management.
• Completion of 10 hours of annual continuing education related to behavior supports.

Responsibilities

• Model and train staff in Positive Behavior Support principles.
• Serve as a member of Interdisciplinary Teams, offering expertise on behavioral issues.
• Assess, design, train, monitor, and report on Behavior Plans.
• Conduct behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and interpret results.
• Provide direct behavioral treatments, including skills training and crisis de-escalation.
• Participate in on-call rotations for behavioral issues.
• Monitor restraint use and provide training to reduce it.
• Participate in relevant committees and provide individualized services as per regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.
• Physical ability to participate in crisis management procedures.
• Educational requirement: Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field; BCBA certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in data entry and computer skills.
