Job summary

Beacon Services of Connecticut is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to expand clinical skills within a public school setting. You will work with students of varying skill levels, including those with autism, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement interventions.

Responsibilities include assessments, individualized treatment planning, supervision of therapists, and active participation in PPTs for progress reporting to school teams and families.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Current BCBA Certification.
  • Two years of ABA experience preferred.
  • Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments and develop individualized client treatment plans including behavior reduction and skill acquisition.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, speech and physical therapists, and other specialists.
  • Supervise and train Behavioral Therapists across school settings.

Job Description

Expand your skills as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst by working with students of varied skill levels, including students with autism, in a public school setting.

Responsibilities
  • Complete assessments and develop individualized client treatment plans, including both behavior reduction and skill acquisition programming
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of special education teachers, speech pathologists, physical therapists, and regular education teachers
  • Supervise and train Behavioral Therapists to work in a variety of school settings
  • Participate in PPTs, where progress and data are presented to members of the school team, as well as families of the students we serve
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Current BCBA Certification
  • Two (2) years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
