Job summary

Beacon Services of Connecticut provides home-based pediatric services within the CT Birth to Three system. Our BCBA/LBA clinicians work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a region, focusing on assessment and evidence-based interventions for young children with developmental delays, and supporting families through transitions to school-based services.

Clinicians supervise paraprofessional staff, develop goals, and contribute to program guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred.

Job Description

Beacon Services of Connecticut provides home-based pediatric services within the CT Birth to Three system. Our practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of young children with a variety of developmental delays. Our BCBA’s work as part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians within an assigned region. We place a high value on training and supporting our clinicians so they may thrive and grow in their roles.

Our LBA’s provide services for families and children referred within the Birth to Three system. They are responsible for the evaluation of a child's skills across a variety of developmental domains and use that information to develop and implement intervention services. Our Licensed Behavior Analysists work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide targeted, evidence-based interventions, as well as to assist families with the transition to school-based services. They also supervise and support early intervention staff with ongoing assessment, data collection, and service delivery.

Overview of Responsibilities
  • Perform home-based intake visits and evaluations with potential clients
  • Support the development and implementation of individual goals and objectives documented on an Individual Family Service Plan
  • Provide supervision to paraprofessional staff
