Job summary

Dominion Care is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead a team in in-home and school-age interventions in Virginia. The role includes client assessments, ISPs, and supervision of clinicians, with emphasis on natural environment teaching and family training.

Qualifications

A full caseload is considered to be approximately 100 scheduled hours per in-home clinician and approximately 200 scheduled hours for an EIBI clinician. The number of clients depends on the severity of the case and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. The ability to lead and manage staff, provide clinical oversight and supervision, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times is critical for this position. Behavior Analysts are expected to hit their 21 billable hours weekly and work 40 hours a week. They will also ensure that all staff on their team are billing at their expected requirement. For clinicians, any billing over the 21 expected billable hours will be paid on the current incentive scale. #hotjobREQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:Master’s Degree or higher in a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)-approved fieldBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), or eligibility to sit for the BCBA examination within two months of application.Virginia Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Virginia.Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders, including at least one year of successful supervisory or management experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform client assessments using clinically appropriate methods and develop client individualized service plans (ISPs) based on assessments.Clinically manage skill acquisition, generalization, maintenance, problem behaviors, and parent training through electronic client records management system.Provide clinical supervision and training to clinical staff and assistant behavior analysts on your team.Provide regular parent training and maintain parent communication to ensure services are effectively impacting families.Assist with all intakes and discharge planning activities including preparing documents to ensure client insurance authorizations and reauthorizations of services.Supervise clinicians in training (CITs) in developing and monitoring ISPs, objectives and methods necessary for providing effective services to clients.Coordinate with other service providers working with clients to encourage consistency among client families/caregivers and all providers.Lead and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and trainings.Lead employees to accomplish all job objectives; inspires confidence and motivation; clearly defines expectations and maintains personal effectiveness under pressure.Demonstrates appropriate delegation and coordination of tasks and duties in the operations of the program, using appropriate organizational/priority setting skills.Completes all paperwork and documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures and acceptable clinical practices within designated time frames.Adhere to all policies and procedures and complete other tasks deemed necessary for the successful operation of the program.Remain current in evidence-based practices by participating in continuing education activities.Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times.About the Company: At Dominion Care, founded in 1999, Care is what we do.
