Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • California licensure/certification (where applicable).
  • Experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities.
  • Experience in a school-based setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavioral assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Monitor client progress and make data-driven programming adjustments.
  • Deliver training to parents, caregivers, and school staff where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with BACB ethical guidelines and California state regulations.

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Typical Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a bespoke, independently owned ABA organization in Santa Monica, California, to recruit a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).


This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit clinical team that prioritizes quality care over high-volume caseloads. The organization currently supports around 20 clients, allowing for a collaborative approach to case management and ensuring every child receives individualized, evidence-based support.


The role is based primarily within a school setting, working with children aged 3-12 years old. You'll collaborate closely with a team of experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), educators, and families to deliver meaningful outcomes while enjoying a structured workday with excellent work-life balance.


With typical working hours of 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM and an expectation of approximately 25-30 billable hours per week, this position offers a sustainable workload in a supportive and clinician-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities
