Lumate is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Lead to mentor and grow a clinical team across NC, VA, and MD, delivering high‑quality ABA services with strong mentorship and leadership opportunities.

What a Day at Lumate Looks Like

No two days as a BCBA at Lumate are exactly alike, and that's what keeps the work energizing. You might start your morning conducting a functional behavior assessment with a new family, then spend midday coaching one of your RBTs through a tricky program adaptation — modeling techniques in session and watching them click. In the afternoon, you could be analyzing progress data, refining treatment plans, or leading a case review where your team's ideas sharpen everyone's practice.

You'll balance direct supervision, parent training, treatment planning, and collaboration with fellow BCBAs and psychologists — with protected time built into your schedule for the clinical thinking that great outcomes require. And for those who want it, some days might take you into the community: leading a training at a local school, equipping teachers with practical strategies for supporting neurodivergent students.

You won't be practicing in isolation. Lumate's clinical leadership includes some of the top minds in psychology and behavioural health — colleagues who value peer consultation, evidence-based practice, and continuous learning. You'll have regular access to senior clinicians for complex cases, structured peer review, and a culture where asking questions is a strength.

You'll also work directly alongside licensed psychologists, giving you a rare opportunity to expand your clinical breadth beyond traditional ABA. Through case collaboration and mentorship, you'll deepen your understanding of presentations such as ADHD, anxiety, and OCD — and learn how

behavioural and psychological perspectives come together to serve clients with complex, co-occurring needs.

Your RBTs, QASP-Ss and BCaBAs have been trained through the Lumate Academy, and our back‑office team handles scheduling, insurance authorizations, and billing logistics — so your energy goes where it belongs: your clients, your team, and your craft.

What You’ll Need

• Experience supervising RBTs and delivering ABA services (new BCBAs with strong supervised fieldwork are encouraged to apply)

What We Offer

• W-2, full‑time position with benefits and paid time off if hours meet full‑time status
• $70-$80 per hour, depending on experience, with the ability to earn more with incentives. With additional, paid administration time, annual compensation for a full‑time position is approximately $115,000 to $120,000.
