Job description

Director of Learner Services (BCBA) | Clinical Leadership

Charlotte, NC (University Area) | In-Person

$100,000–$130,000/year including performance bonus

Up to $10,000 Annual Performance Bonus | Paid Quarterly

Full-Time

Ready to Lead Without Leaving the Clinical Work You Love?

You became a BCBA to make a difference—not to spend your entire day buried in administrative tasks.

At Autism 360, we're looking for an experienced, compassionate BCBA to step into a clinical leadership role as our Director of Learner Services.

This is an opportunity to lead a clinical team, mentor RBTs, shape the quality of care in your clinic, and continue making a meaningful impact with learners and families.

And because great leadership requires the right support, we've built this role around defined caseload expectations, operational partnership, protected clinical leadership time, and clear expectations.

Lead people. Develop clinicians. Improve outcomes. Build something you're proud of.

Compensation

We believe in being transparent about compensation from the beginning.

BCBAs with 2 years of experience or less: $100,000–$110,000 total annual compensation, including bonus

BCBAs with 2+ years of experience: $110,000–$130,000 total annual compensation, including bonus

Performance bonus of up to $10,000 annually, paid quarterly and tied to clearly defined performance metrics.

What You'll Do

As Director of Learner Services, you'll serve as the clinical leader for your assigned learners and team. You'll balance hands-on clinical work with mentorship, team development, and clinical oversight.

You’ll:

  • Lead clinical quality, treatment outcomes, and ABA programming for your assigned caseload
  • Provide a minimum of 25 supervision hours per week
  • Oversee other applicable service codes in accordance with North Carolina Medicaid, payer, and state requirements
  • Develop and oversee individualized, data-driven treatment plans
  • Supervise, mentor, coach, and develop RBTs
  • Provide thoughtful clinical feedback and help your team grow professionally
  • Build collaborative, trusting relationships with learners' families
  • Establish and uphold strong standards for supervision, documentation, and clinical best practices
  • Partner with clinic operations on staffing, onboarding, RBT retention, and team support
  • Create a clinic culture that balances accountability, encouragement, collaboration, and FUN
  • Identify and mentor future clinical leaders within Autism 360
What Makes Leadership at Autism 360 Different?

We've listened to BCBA feedback about what makes—or breaks—a clinical leadership role.

And we've worked to build better systems around our clinicians.

Defined Caseload Expectations

Clear expectations designed to protect clinical quality, promote work-life balance, and support sustainable careers.

Real Operational Support

You shouldn't have to be the BCBA, scheduler, recruiter, HR department, billing specialist, and operations manager all at once.

Our operational teams support scheduling, HR, billing, staffing, and other administrative responsibilities so you can spend more time leading clinically.

Protected Clinical Leadership Time

More time to focus on what you're uniquely qualified to do: supervision, programming, clinical decision-making, learner outcomes, mentorship, and team development.

Stronger RBT Hiring & Development

We've strengthened our hiring standards, onboarding, and training resources to better prepare the RBTs you’ll lead.

Clearer Clinical + Administrative Partnership

Our infrastructure is designed to prevent every operational responsibility from automatically landing on the BCBA's desk.

Leadership Growth

This isn't simply a bigger caseload with a leadership title attached to it.

You’ll have opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills, develop other clinicians, and make a visible impact on the culture and clinical quality of your center.

North Carolina Focused

Autism 360 is one of North Carolina's largest privately held autism services providers. Our local focus allows us to build systems specifically around the needs of North Carolina learners, families, clinicians, and the evolving Medicaid environment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a strong clinician who is ready to lead with both high standards and empathy.

You’ll need:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • North Carolina licensure or willingness to obtain it
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to ethical, data-driven ABA practice
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to coach and hold team members accountable while creating a supportive environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, RBTs, clinical peers, and operations partners
  • Ability to work full-time and in person

Previous leadership, supervision, or mentorship experience is strongly preferred.

Benefits That Support You, Too
  • Medical, dental & vision insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid time off + paid holidays
  • 401(k)
  • CEU support
  • Leadership development opportunities
  • Collaborative clinical and operational support
  • A team culture focused on sustainable careers and high-quality care
Experienced BCBAs Have Options. We Know That.

Your time matters, and we're not interested in dragging out the hiring process.

If your background looks like a potential match, you can expect to hear from our recruiting team the same day or by the next business day.

Come lead a team where your clinical expertise matters, your leadership can make a visible impact, and you can help shape the experience of learners, families, and the clinicians you mentor.

Ready for Your Next Leadership Opportunity?

Autism 360 is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We welcome and value different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where every team member has the opportunity to grow and succeed.
