Job summary

Marklund is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Elgin, IL to lead behavior intervention programs for students aged 3–21 with disabilities. The role runs 8 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday, with a salary range of $85,500–$91,000 based on experience.

The BCBA will conduct assessments, write plans, collect data, report progress, and supervise RBTs while collaborating with a dedicated team across school services. Training and extensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field is required.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.
• BCBA Certification with supervisory endorsement is required.
• Experience working with students with multiple needs and autism is required.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and meet environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Analysis Assessment and Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Write and implement behavior plans.
• Create data collection systems to track student progress.
• Report quarterly on behavior goals and data in a student’s IEP.
• Facilitate weekly behavior support meetings.
• Provide ongoing coaching and training within and outside the classroom.
• Train and supervise classroom RBTs.

About our school:

Marklund Day School is a non-public state-certified school thatpartners with area school districts to provide a highly specializededucation experience. The therapeutic, sensory-driven Multi-NeedsProgram serves individuals ages 3 through 21 with medical,developmental, and physical disabilities. Through the Life SkillsProgram, teachers and paraprofessionals provide individualizedfunctional curriculum and supports for students who are diagnosed onthe Autism Spectrum, specific learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities.
