Marklund is seeking highly motivated and mission-centered individualsfor the position of Therapeutic Activity Aide at the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin, IL. The hourly schedule is 1 PM - 9PM, five days a week. Candidates mustbe able to perform the essentialfunctions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.
The hourly rate is $17.25/hr.

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential,educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens andadults with serious and profound developmental disabilities andspecial healthcare needs. With two residential locations – theMarklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center inElgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund DaySchool offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside atMarklund and those who come in from the community.
