Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for an in-person, school-based role in Yelm, Washington. The position supports K-12 students across multiple sites and includes supervision of Behavior Support Assistants.

The BCBA will collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators; participate in IEP development; and travel between sites as needed. Start ASAP with an end date of June 16, 2027.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification is required.
• WA State behavior analyst license or willingness to obtain.
• OSPI fingerprint clearance or willingness to complete fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop BIPs.
• Design and monitor strategies to support behavior, communication, and independence.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate progress and adjust interventions.
• Supervise BSAs and provide guidance on implementing behavior support plans.
• Train and collaborate with school staff to promote consistent student support.
• Partner with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Contribute to IEP development and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress.
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed.
