Job summary

TSP Ed Co is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students in a school setting in Yelm, WA. You will work directly with students, collaborate with educators and families, and help children build behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and functional skills for school success.

You will assess needs, develop supports, supervise staff, participate in IEP meetings, and coach other team members to implement evidence-based strategies.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification required.
  • Master's degree in ABA, psychology, education, or related field.
  • School-based experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA, behavior assessment, and intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze student behavioral data.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Provide direct behavioral support and consultation to students and school staff.
  • Supervise and support RBTs, paraprofessionals, and other staff.
  • Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data and progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goals and programming.
  • Provide staff training and coaching on evidence-based strategies.
  • Maintain student confidentiality and follow school policies.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and support students in a school setting in Yelm, WA.

This is a great opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys working directly with students, collaborating with educators and families, and helping children build the behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and functional skills they need to be successful at school.

What You'll Do

As a BCBA, you will work collaboratively with special education staff and other members of the educational team to assess student needs, develop individualized behavioral supports, and promote positive student outcomes. Responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and analyzing student behavioral data
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Providing direct behavioral support and consultation to students and school staff
  • Supervising and supporting RBTs, paraprofessionals, and other behavioral support staff
  • Collecting, analyzing, and documenting behavioral and skill‑acquisition data
  • Developing strategies to increase positive behaviors, communication, independence, and engagement
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student programming and goals
  • Providing staff training, coaching, and consultation on evidence‑based behavioral strategies
  • Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies
Qualifications
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
  • School-based and/or special education experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior assessment, and intervention strategies
  • Experience developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
  • Ability to meet all applicable school, certification, and employment requirements
