Job summary

GrowWell Child Psychology is seeking a dedicated BCBA to join our team of expert consultants. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, school-based behavioral consultation across multiple districts to support students, staff and systems.

The position emphasizes internal capacity building through evaluation, staff training and coaching, and the development and implementation of behavioral support plans. Travel between Southern Maine districts is required.

Qualifications

  • BCBA or BCBA-D certification in good standing.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • Experience in public school settings and school-based systems.
  • Strong communication with diverse stakeholders and families.
  • Commitment to evidence-based behavior interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Design and revise function-based Positive Behavior Support Plans.
  • Apply evidence-based practices for progress monitoring and decisions.
  • Provide staff coaching and ongoing consultation to teachers and admins.
  • Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, OTs, and parents.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – School Consultant

Role Summary

GrowWell Child Psychology is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team of expert consultants. This role focuses on providing high-quality, behavior analytic consultation across multiple school districts to support students, staff, and systems. The successful candidate will act as a primary resource for school teams, emphasizing the building of internal capacity through evidence-based evaluation, staff training and coaching, and the development and implementation of robust behavior support plans.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Behavioral Evaluation: Conducting comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments and providing data-driven recommendations for educational programming.
  • Plan Development: Designing and revising function-based Positive Behavior Support Plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Utilizing research-backed methodologies for objective progress monitoring and data-driven decision-making.
  • Staff Coaching & Consultation: Providing direct training and ongoing consultation to teachers, educational technicians, and administrators to ensure the fidelity of behavior change interventions.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Working alongside psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
Qualifications
  • Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) in good standing.
  • Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience working within public school settings and a deep understanding of school-based behavioral systems.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including parents, advocates, and school leadership.
  • Clinical Expertise: Commitment to selecting and implementing appropriate, functionally-indicated, and evidence-based behavior change interventions.
