Job summary

Central Unified School District is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to apply ABA principles to prevent or address school-related challenges and to support the learning development of students in public schools.

The BCBA will collaborate with district staff and families to design instructional strategies, behavior management, and intervention plans, while conducting behavior data analysis to drive decisions. Prior BCBA certification and a master's degree are required.

Qualifications

  • BCBA Certification is required with a Master's Degree.
  • Registered Behavior Technician Supervisor credential is required.
  • NCI or CPI certification is preferred.
  • Valid California Driver's License is required.
  • Experience with students with special education needs is required.

Responsibilities

  • Apply the science of ABA and learning principles to support school students and families.
  • Collaborate with District staff and families to design instructional strategies.
  • Implement behavior management plans and data collection to monitor progress.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and data-based decision making.

Job Summary

To apply the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and principles of learning and behavior to prevent or ameliorate school-related problems and to facilitate the learning development of children in public schools. The BCBA collaborates with District Staff and families to design and implement appropriate instructional strategies, behavior management, behavior intervention plans, and behavior data.

Licenses and Other Requirements
  • BCBA Certification & Master's Degree required
  • Registered Behavior Technician Supervisor
  • NCI or CPI certification preferred
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Experience working with students with special education needs
