Job summary

Clementine ABA in Bon Air, VA is seeking a motivated BCBA to join our growing team. This part-time, hybrid role offers 15–25 hours per week under clinical direction of a Clinical BCBA.

You will conduct behavioral assessments, design and monitor ABA-based interventions, supervise RBTs, train caregivers, and collaborate with families and professionals to promote meaningful outcomes. Maintain compliant documentation and participate in case reviews.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA board certification is required.
• Virginia LBA licensure or eligibility prior to start.
• Ongoing education and certification maintenance are expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Design, implement, and monitor ABA-based interventions.
• Analyze client data and adjust treatment plans to ensure progress.
• Provide supervision to RBTs and direct-care staff.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention programs based on ABA principles.

• Analyze client data and make treatment recommendations to ensure progress toward goals.

• Provide clinical supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct-care staff, as assigned.

• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary professionals to promote consistency across environments.

• Conduct caregiver training and provide ongoing guidance to support treatment goals.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including treatment notes, progress reports, and assessment summaries.

• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and clinical consultations with the Clinical BCBA.

• Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with BACB Ethics Code, Virginia regulations, and organizational policies.

Certification Requirements:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®)

• Active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine, or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure prior to the start of employment.

• Must maintain all required certifications, licensure, and continuing education requirements throughout employment.
