Job description

Updated — here’s the revised version with the Biltmore location:

Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families? Join our clinician‑led ABA team in the heart of Phoenix and thrive in a supportive, collaborative center where your clinical expertise is valued, your caseload is manageable, and your professional growth is a priority.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced BCBA to deliver high‑quality, center‑based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental differences at our Biltmore center in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate is motivated, clinically strong, and ready to work directly with clients, families, and their team to design and implement individualized ABA programs — all under one roof.

This role reports to the VP of Clinical Operations and works closely with our Director of Outcomes & Innovation. You’ll serve as both a clinical leader and a mentor — shaping treatment, coaching your team, and helping families see real progress.

About Our Organization

We are a locally owned, clinician‑led ABA provider — not private‑equity owned. That means no unrealistic productivity demands and no volume‑over‑quality pressure. We intentionally prioritize ethical practice, individualized care, and meaningful outcomes. Our Biltmore center provides a structured, consistent environment where children can learn, grow, and connect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Oversee ABA Programs: Create and manage individualized ABA treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct Assessments: Perform Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments including VB‑MAPP and Vineland.
  • Supervise Behavior Technicians: Provide clinical supervision, hands‑on coaching, and mentorship to Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Program Coordinators on‑site.
  • Collaborate with Families: Partner closely with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in ABA strategies between the center and home.
  • Monitor Progress: Regularly review client data, adjust treatment plans as needed, and produce clear progress documentation.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold ethical standards set by the BACB, Arizona LBA licensure requirements, and payer regulations.
  • Family & Team Engagement: Deliver caregiver training that is practical, respectful, and individualized to each family’s needs.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Arizona, or eligibility for licensure
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles, ethics, and evidence‑based practices
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and clinical report writing
  • Ability to pass state and federal background checks

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BCBA in clinical, center‑based, or in‑home settings
  • Center‑based ABA experience is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with VB‑MAPP, ABLLS‑R, Vineland, or similar assessment tools
Why Join Our Team?
  • Locally Owned & Clinician‑Led: Your clinical voice matters — we make decisions based on what’s best for clients, not shareholders.
  • No Private‑Equity Pressure: Sustainable caseloads, realistic expectations, and a culture that respects your time.
  • Predictable Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM — no nights, no weekends.
  • Professional Development: CEUs, a $750 annual professional development stipend, expert‑led training, and ongoing mentorship.
  • Supportive Environment: Work alongside a collaborative, dedicated team that is genuinely passionate about client success.
  • Rewarding Work: Make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families through meaningful, individualized ABA services.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $80,000 – $110,000 annually based on experience
  • Health insurance with an employer‑paid portion of employee premiums
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • $750 annual professional development stipend
  • Free CEUs and expert‑led training opportunities
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Discretionary bonus opportunities
  • Referral and relocation assistance (as applicable)
