Job summary

Applied ABC is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support elementary students within a district-wide school setting. You will lead FBA assessments, develop behavior plans, and deliver direct ABA services while partnering with teachers, families, and administrators.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practices, compassionate care, and ongoing data-driven progress monitoring, with opportunities to expand district-level consulting as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
• BCBA certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of ABA therapy or behavioral services, preferably in an educational setting.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing/implementing behavior plans.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based ABA practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on FBA results.
• Provide direct ABA therapy and behavioral support to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans.
• Train and coach school staff on ABA principles and behavioral strategies.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
• Provide consultation and support related to IEP behavioral goals and services.
• Participate in MDRs and other school-based behavioral processes as needed.
• Observe classrooms and provide recommendations to promote positive student outcomes.
• Support district-level behavioral initiatives and services as needed.

Position Details

• Position: Full-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Schedule: Approximately 7:40 a.m.–3:00 p.m., following the elementary school day (approximately 37.5 hours per week)
• Initial Placement: Elementary school support, beginning with two identified classrooms
• Salary option: $75-85K
• Hourly option: $80-85/hr
• Setting: School-based, with opportunities to provide broader district-level behavioral services as needed

Scope of Services

The BCBA will provide comprehensive behavioral support at the classroom, student, and district levels. Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
• Providing support related to Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs)
• Developing, reviewing, and updating individualized behavior plans
• Providing behavioral consultation to students, teachers, and school teams
• Conducting classroom observations and identifying behavioral patterns and needs
• Reviewing and analyzing behavioral data to monitor progress and inform interventions
• Coaching and collaborating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff
• Providing behavioral support related to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Supporting consistent implementation of evidence-based behavioral strategies
• Participating in school-based meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Providing broader district-level behavioral consultation and services as needed
