Job summary

Achievement Behavior Care (ABC) Services is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) licensed as LBAs for flexible, contract-based roles in Alabama. You will conduct FBAs, develop BIPs, supervise BCBA-Candidates and Technicians, and implement evidence-based ABA plans with families in home and community settings.

This 1099-per-diem position offers remote, in-person, or hybrid work, with mentorship from senior clinical directors and the ability to choose caseloads and hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, SPED, or related field; BCBA licensure is required.
• Licensed Behavior Analyst credential and in-person or hybrid work arrangement.
• Experience using Vineland, VB-MAPP, ATEC assessments and data tools.
• Provide 1:1 services with families; supervise BCBA-Candidates and Technicians.
• Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving and organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and create evidence-based BIPs for clients.
• Supervise and mentor BCBA-Candidates and Behavior Technicians.
• Implement ABA strategies in home and community settings.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans aligned with ABA principles.
• Lead parent trainings and coordinate with schools and other providers.
• Monitor data, adjust programs, and report progress using RETHINK.

Job Description:

As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with ABC Services you will...

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)
• Create behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Supervise, evaluate, & mentor, BCBA-Candidates & Behavior Technicians
• Implement effective strategies for our clients in home and community settings
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans for children and families that are ethically aligned with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
• Schedule and conduct parent trainings (PCT)
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with various other personnel including teachers, other school providers, etc.
• Conduct initial and reassessments, functional behavior assessments and create behavior intervention plans
• Monitor progress and evaluate program data, modify programs based on data analysis, and report on progress/regression using RETHINK
• Provide support to families, behavior technicians, and colleagues using effective, multi-tiered stakeholder communication
• Ensure high standard of care and services

Requirements of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA):

• Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related human services field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst License
• Licensed Behavior Analyst Credential
• In Person position/potential for hybrid
• Provide direct 1:1 services and Parent Counseling and Training with clients in home
• Malpractice Insurance
• Experience conducting assessments such as the Vineland, VB-MAPP, ATEC, etc.
• Excellent clinical judgement, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans for individuals with challenging behavior
• Experience in developing and implementing skill acquisition plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of Discrete Trial Training (DTT) programming and implementation
• Knowledge of naturalistic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming and implementation
• Flexibility and ability to promptly respond to phone calls, text messages, and emails
• Successful completion of mandatory employee training
• Participation in ongoing in-house training and required professional development
• Multilingual is a plus!
• Dedicated to building your own team of Behavior Technicians to mentor toward success on their cases.
