Job summary

Collaborate ABA in Austin, TX seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to design, supervise, and monitor ABA services for clients with developmental and learning differences.

You will assess needs, develop individualized plans, and oversee staff to ensure high-fidelity implementation, data-driven progress, and ethical practice in all settings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FBAs and skill assessments to guide programming.

Job description

TheBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)plays a critical role in the design,

implementation, and supervision of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for clients with

developmental, behavioral, and learning differences. The BCBA is responsible for assessing

client needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and overseeing the delivery of behavior-

analytic interventions in accordance with ethical and professional standards set forth by the

and advocate for evidence-based practices, ensuring that all therapeutic services are client-

centered, goal-driven, and data-informed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), preference assessments, and skills assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS) to inform individualized programming.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and client-specific goals.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct staff, ensuring high fidelity in program implementation.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and other interdisciplinary professionals to promote generalization and consistency of behavior supports across settings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and treatment plan updates, in compliance with funding source and ethical requirements.
  • Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions to promote skill carryover and long-term success.
  • Uphold BACB ethical and professional standards, including confidentiality, scope of practice, and client dignity.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, supervision, and continuing education to maintain active BCBA certification.
  • Contribute to the growth of the organization through collaboration, professional leadership, and promotion of best practices in ABA service delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Current certification as aBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in providing and/or supervising ABA therapy preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in data collection systems, electronic documentation, and treatment management software.
Compensation and Benefits:

Pay will be determined based on the candidate’s education, relevant experience, and qualifications. Full-time BCBA’s will receive health, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
