Job summary

BMW of Salem, part of the Lithia & Driveway family, is seeking BMW Certified Technicians who are passionate about the Ultimate Driving Machine and delivering exceptional service.

This onsite Salem, OR role offers growth opportunities within a high-volume shop where your expertise is valued and your production rewards are tied to performance. Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with overtime available.

Qualifications

• BMW Certification (Level 1, 2, 3 or Master) preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in a dealership environment.
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical and drivability skills.
• ASE certifications are ideal but not required.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and customer focus.
• Valid driver’s license in your state.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance & repairs on BMW vehicles.
• Utilize BMW diagnostic equipment and service procedures.
• Accurately document repairs and recommendations.
• Maintain high productivity and quality repairs.
• Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to deliver great customer experience.
• Stay current with BMW training, certifications and new technologies.

Hiring: BMW Certified Technician

• Pay: $32.00 to $45.00 flat rate depending on experience, plus production bonuses.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm. Overtime is also available.

This position is onsite in Salem OR and reports to the Service Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on BMW vehicles

What You’ll Bring

• BMW Certification (Level 1, 2, 3, or Master Technician preferred)
• 2+ years of working in a dealership environment
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical, electrical, and drivability skills
• ASE certifications are ideal but not required
• Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and quality repairs
• Ability to learn and adapt to evolving BMW technology
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence
