L0180 BMW of Des Moines is hiring Class B and C technicians for a full-time opportunity in Des Moines. Pay ranges from $22 to $30 per flat rate hour, based on experience and ASE/manufacturer certifications. The role requires using scan tools, maintenance of records, and adherence to safety standards.

You'll diagnose malfunctions, road-test vehicles, and document all work. Eligible for incentives and comprehensive benefits as part of Lithia & Driveway's Total Rewards.

• Class B or C level technician with 3+ years of dealership or private shop experience.
• Up-to-date ASE and manufacturer certifications.
• Familiarity using scan tools and service information systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and complete all work per safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair orders, recording tests and time.
• Provide and maintain an inventory of standard mechanic tools.

Dealership: L0180 BMW of Des Moines BMW of Des Moines NOW HIRING Class B and C Technicians! Pay: $22 to $30 per flat rate hour, based on experience Schedule: Full time Department Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm; Saturday 8am to 4pm

Who We're Looking For:

• Class B or C level technicians with 3+ years of experience in a dealership or private shop
• Up-to-date ASE and manufacturer certifications
• Familiarity using scan tools and service information systems
• Skill in performing brake, suspension, and steering repairs
• Proficient in engine maintenance and basic electrical diagnostics
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

What You'll Do:

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results and time, per company recording and clocking procedures
• Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools

Total Rewards

The flat rate range for this position is $25.00 to $35.00. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on production/productivity. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
