Job summary

Pacific BMW in Glendale, CA, is hiring a BMW Concierge Genius for the Service Department. You will assist clients with questions and BMW technology updates, following premium customer experience standards.

The role is regular full-time, hourly pay starting at $20 per hour, with hours Monday–Friday 7:30 am–6 pm and Saturday 8 am–4 pm. Reports to the Service Manager, and provides a welcoming, tech-savvy customer experience while moving the dealership forward.

Qualifications

• Armenian language is preferred but not required.
• Dealership experience as a Sales or Service Porter.
• Tech-savvy and familiar with BMW technology.
• Detail-oriented and attentive to customers.
• Ability to engage in conversation and personalize interactions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Minimum 3 years with a US driver’s license, clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Proactively acknowledge and welcome visitors to the Service drive with enthusiasm.
• Personalize the dealership experience and communicate next steps and expectations.
• Use technology and software to maintain contacts.
• Train for BMW Genius Certification and complete trainings.
• Understand the service process and hand off customers to sub-departments.
• Manage customer challenges with tact and patience.
• Be proactive and assist customers and staff as needed.
• Support Service Advisors with follow-up calls and appointment confirmations.
• Assist with moving vehicles and locating vehicles on the lot.
• Thank clients exiting the service drive and solicit feedback.

Pacific BMW is hiring a BMW Concierge Genius for the Service Department, responsible for assisting clients with their questions and technology needs regarding their BMWs' updates and knowledge. This position reports to Edgar Oganesyan, Service Manager. The Service Department's hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30 am- 6 pm & Saturday from 8 am- 4 pm. T his is a full-time position, paid hourly, starting at $20.

Job Duties

• Proactively acknowledge and welcome visitors entering the Service drive with enthusiasm following the premium customer experience training
• Personalize all clients’ Dealership experience and ensure they are given proper next steps and expectations
• Use all available technology, including mobile applications and computer software, to maintain contacts
• Train for the BMW Genius Certification and maintain quarterly training courses and assessment completion
• Understand the basics of the service process and familiarize with all sub-department roles to properly hand-off customers
• Manage customer challenges that arise with tact and patience
• Be actively aware of your surroundings; be proactive and help customers wherever is needed
• Assist the Service Advisors team with making next-day follow-up phone calls and appointment confirmation calls
• Assist with moving vehicles and scanning the lot for help as needed
• Thank clients as they exit the service drive and inquire about their visit’s satisfaction

Physical Requirements

• Surroundings: position requires standing for long periods of time in an air-conditioned office, and spending some time outdoors exposed to the weather and elements
