Qualifications

• Proficiency in control theory and building automation systems.
• 0-2 years of experience in a BMS operator or similar facility management role.
• Clear communication of system status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with facility teams and external contractors.
• HVAC-related certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with BMS platforms (Trane, Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate Building Management Systems (BMS), including HVAC and lighting.
• Run advanced diagnostics to resolve alarms and maintain performance.
• Respond to real-time alarms, investigate root causes, and escalate as needed.
• Generate reports on alarm activity and energy usage for review.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Respond to emergencies and follow Johnson Controls protocols.
• Use analytics to drive decisions and identify energy-saving opportunities.
