Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Vancouver, WA is seeking a BAS/BMS Specialist to oversee operation, maintenance and optimization of building management systems across client facilities. You will support configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure safe, reliable HVAC and energy management systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years hands-on experience with Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, Tridium, Jace, Niagara, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics &

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting building automation systems.
• Familiarity with campus-wide modernization projects and IAQ/energy initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring BAS/BMS systems for client buildings
• Provide inputs towards configuration, program, and commissioning of BMS hardware and software
• Manage and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting, access control, and energy management systems
• Monitor system performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, coordinating with maintenance teams and external vendors as needed
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including operating procedures, maintenance schedules, and system architecture diagrams
• Plan and oversee system upgrades, expansions, and integrations
• Train staff on BMS operation and maintenance procedures
