Job summary

Control Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Management Systems Field Engineer (Programmer) to program, develop graphics, deploy, diagnose, troubleshoot, and commission BAS/BMS systems in a construction environment.

The role requires field programming and on-site coordination with project managers to ensure on-time completion and quality delivery. The candidate should have 5-7 years of HVAC controls field experience, knowledge of DDC systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years field experience in HVAC controls including DDC systems commissioning
• Experience with pneumatic controls is preferred
• Able to read and understand sequences of operation
• Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Develop project programming and graphics per sequences and site standards
• Deploy programming, graphics and front end configuration files on job sites
• Coordinate multiple automation installation projects
• Consult with Project Manager on scope changes and deadlines
• Review contract documents and RFIs to determine scope
• Support technicians and field supervisors on projects
• Maintain cooperative relationships with clients and subcontractors
• Troubleshoot and repair BAS/BMS panels and related components
• Plan, organize and meet deadlines; ensure confidentiality
