Job summary

JLL is seeking a Controls Engineer to oversee and optimize building management systems (BMS) across client facilities. You will monitor systems, configure and commission BMS hardware/software, and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure reliable operation of HVAC, lighting, access control, and energy management.

You will contribute to energy efficiency initiatives and cost reductions. Excellent knowledge of HVAC/electrical systems is required along with experience in BMS platforms and strong

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building monitoring systems (BMS) management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, lighting systems, and energy management principles.
• Proficiency in BMS software platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Johnson Controls).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee BMS across client buildings.
• Input configuration, programming, and commissioning of BMS hardware and software.
• Maintain building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, access control, energy management).
• Analyze data to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot issues; coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.
• Plan system upgrades, expansions, and integrations.
• Train staff on BMS operations and maintenance.
