Job summary

Control Solutions Group, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Application Engineer for Building Management Systems (BMS).

You will produce submittals for mechanical approvals, develop controller software sequences, and build graphics and reporting databases for BMS projects. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in HVAC/controls, experience with BACnet/Modbus, AutoCAD and MS Office, and a strong foundation in building automation and project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, ME, CE, Math or Physics
• Minimum 4 years experience in the HVAC/controls industry
• DDC programming and BACnet/Modbus integration experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings, sequences of operation, and bills of materials for building automation projects.
• Develop BMS software databases (programming and graphics) per engineering docs.
• Design, integrate and support network migration for BACnet/Modbus platforms.
• Maintain As-Built drawings and update documents in AutoCAD, Visio, Excel and Word.
• Visit sites as needed to validate design sequences and support commissioning.
