Job summary

Capital i is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) Level II for Charleston Air Force Base in Charleston, SC. You will inspect, calibrate, diagnose, maintain and repair diverse medical and support equipment, following OEM guidance and DoD directives to ensure reliability.

The role includes installation support, lifecycle management, and documenting all actions. Travel 10–25% and day-shift hours apply; U.S. work eligibility and security clearance readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or DoD course in biomedical maintenance required.
• Four years of field experience in inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance and repair.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Follow OEM guidance, AFI, regulations and unit directives.
• Document repairs and maintenance actions with detailed service records.
• Assist in installation and configuration of new biomedical equipment.
• Life cycle management and provisioning for medical and non-medical equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors for service when required.
