Job summary

Capitaliis is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) - Level II for Charleston Air Force Base, SC. You will inspect, calibrate, diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of biomedical and support equipment, ensuring OEM guidance, DoD instructions, and unit directives are followed.

The role requires four years of field experience, Planmeca course completion within 12 months, and the ability to obtain necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or DoD Planmeca course required.
• Four years of field experience in inspecting, calibrating, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing medical equipment per OEM guidance.
• Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Follow OEM guidance, AFI regulations and unit direction.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, calibration of biomedical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions; coordinate with vendors for service.
• Maintain detailed service records of repairs and maintenance actions.
• Assist in installation and configuration of new biomedical equipment.
• Manage life cycle, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of medical and support equipment.
• Prepare support documentation and parts requisitions.
